California sunshine! Easter 2013

For Easter we went to see Adi's great grandma and great great grandma! The weather was so nice and sunny. Adi loved swimming in the pool and waving at everyone. It was nice to relax and eat yummy food!

One Year Old!!

Happy Birthday Princess Adi!

This has been the fastest, most amazing year of my life. It has been incredible watching Adi go from a little sleepy bundle to a walking, talking ball of crazy energy! She is the brightest thing in our lives and we love her more than anything.

Birthday morning with Daddy

On her actual birthday we went to the aquarium (just the three of us). It was so much fun to watch her get excited about the penguins and otters.

We were the only ones by the penguins... they put on a show just for Adi!

We went to California a few days later (separate post on that soon) to see granny and gram. That was nice and warm!

Then on April 7 we had a big family party at the park. The weather held out just in time for the party and it turned out great. (Separate pic in a post soon).
At one year Adi weighed in at
17 lbs (5th percentile, tiny!)
28 1/4 inch (10-25th percentile)
45 cm head measurement (50th percentile)
She has four teeth still

Adi's one year accomplishments include:
Walking! (Like a champ!)
Climbs stairs and ladders (yikes!)
Says 'hi', 'ozzy', 'kitty', 'daddy', 'good', 'Adi', 'bunny', 'up', 'yeah' and 'bye'
Waves constantly at everyone and anyone
Knows 'more', 'eat', 'milk' and 'water' in sign language... it's a work in progress

One Small step for baby... eleven months

On February 28th Adi turned eleven months old! The day right before we celebrated this milestone she took her first itty bitty step.  We were staying with Nana and Papa while daddy was out of town for the week working.  We were playing with her go kart and Papa. He stood her up right next to it and I slid it just out of reach.  She took one step toward her go kart and history was made! Ok well that's a bit over the top but we were so excited! She did it a couple days later for her daddy and mommy missed it so the score was even.  Within a few days she kept building up her courage and steps.  By Saturday March 10th she was cruising around like it was nothing. 


She really is the brightest light in our lives and we love this little sprout to pieces.

Adi's Eleven month accomplishments include:

• WALKING!
• Third tooth February 24th
• Fourth tooth March 2nd
• LOVES to play with Mommy's old kitchen center, she plays soooo well
• Has seven words now: Still "Hi", "Ozzy", "kitty", "Daddy", and "good" but we added "Adi" and "bunny". Which after she makes the "b" sound like 10 times. She also says two things that sound a lot like "bye" and "babe". Not sure yet.
• Loves to snuggle stuffed animals.
• Gives great cuddles on command.
• Sleeping so much better (thanks mom and dad!)
• Plays well with all her toys

Adi weighed in around 17 lbs (who knows with that awful bathroom scale)
and she was 28.25 inches long (tall? now that she stands so much? haha)
