The nursery... Still empty

Well I guess modern medicine was created to step in where mother nature drops the ball. Induction scheduled beginning Wednesday night so Baby A will be here sometime Thursday. I just thought I would post some nursery pictures while we are waiting for the little sprout to arrive.

Post due date update... almost 41 weeks :/

How far along: 5 days overdue

Gender: Girl

Total weight gain: 20 pounds gained! But I did still fit in my kart yesterday (bump and all!)

Maternity clothes: Same as before... not really.  Living in leggings and dresses and my baggier pre-pregnancy jeans

Stretch marks: Not yet! Still moisturizing!!! My belly button piercing has been a bit irritated but will be ok

Sleep:Not really anymore... lots of insomnia.  Oops

Miss Anything: Beer, tanning, teeth bleaching and my hair needs to be dyed!

Movement: Still doing well with this even past due.  Yesterday at the race track was a blast, all that engine noise was better than a lullaby!!

Cravings: Total myth.  These really honestly don't exist... or didn't for me.  I just ate lots of fruits and veggies and try to stay healthy. But Easter candy is my favorite candy of the year so I've added in some sweets :)

Symptoms: Lots and lots of contractions at night now.  Lower pelvic pain and lots of back aches.  And some other symptoms of dilation that we don't have to go in to. :)

Mood: Excited, anxious, nervous, and hoping she can pull through on her own.  The doctor won't let me go over much longer so hopefully Baby A can get out here before we both get pumped full of those yucky drugs.

Looking forward to: Racing! Beer, teeth bleaching, tanning, hair dying, and sleeping on my back and tummy!

Exercise: Just walking as much as possible to help persuade the little one out... no such luck.

Nutrition: Still pretty balanced as I have been the whole time.

Favorite moments this week: Spending the whole week with Hubs home from Korea and off of work.  We slept in, goofed off, lounged, got baby things done and just enjoyed being together just us two.  Won't be long now until it's just the three of us :)
5 days overdue... sigh... but at least not too big!!

Race number one ice breaker

Well I wasn't racing since the little one is overdue and still not coming but sissy and friends had a fun day. New leopard 100cc engines seemed really fun with a lot more go than the kt 100 engines. Colby dominated the class with lots of extra seat time. T.J and Jeff battled during the final and Jeff ended up in second. Sis was fourth but learning a faster engine after years away from the speed so she should be proud :)
On the shifter front Bonnier kicked major ass with the usual guys tailing right behind. Good friend Chris did great adjusting to his new kart as well with no incidents and bad luck!! Woohoo!!
Looking like baby A and I will be home bound for the next race but will watch live timing and scoring from home.
Can't wait to be back in the seat (well I did SIT in my kart but didn't run). Looks like the late April race will be my first one.
Baby A will be here by Thursday regardless of her wishes the dr is gonna make it happen then. So, more to come when the little one arrives!
Mama to be (overdue) making sure I still fit!

A little maternity update :)

How far along: 38 Weeks

Gender: Girl

Total weight gain: 20 pounds gained! With all the stress of Hubs getting deployed to Korea I dropped a little but growth was good so Doc isn't worried.

Maternity clothes: Nah, not really.  Mama bought me a couple things and I bought my cheap-o Forever 21 jeans a while back but other wise I just wear leggings and make do with dresses I already had.  It hasn't been too bad or unfashionable.

Stretch marks: Not yet! Still moisturizing!!!

Sleep: As good as can be expected.  I have to create a little cocoon of pillows every night before bed but I am managing.  Having little Oz sleep on my tummy actually helps me nestle in, when he's off roaming I can't get to sleep!

Miss Anything: Let's be honest... Beer, Racing and my abs... Oh and now that Hubs got shipped off to Korea, I miss him more than anything in the world.

Movement: Yes! It's creepy, like I have a little alien inside.  I see every single movement due to not having extra layers of fat.  So weird!

Cravings: Total myth.  These really honestly don't exist... or didn't for me.  I just ate lots of fruits and veggies and try to stay healthy.

Symptoms: Lots and lots of contractions at night now.  Lower pelvic pain and lots of back aches.  And some other symptoms of dilation that we don't have to go in to. :)

Mood: Excited, anxious, nervous, lonely... ready?

Looking forward to: Meeting the little one and having Hubs home.  Last appointment I was only 1 cm dilated but 50% effaced which is pretty good progress from a 0 cm 0% effacing check up a week prior.  We might be getting closer. Oh an of course ready to be back in my go-kart!!!!

Exercise: On my feet with the kiddos all day long, walking, some arm exercises and yoga twice a week still.

Nutrition: Still pretty balanced as I have been the whole time.

Favorite moments this week: Taking pictures with Hubs before he left... I look at them everyday now that he is gone.

Photos with hubs

Before Hubby left for Korea, we decided to take some pictures.
The likelihood of him seeing my preggo belly again isn't good so it was this weekend or never! We went to the neighborhood lake and took some pictures....
My boo makes me so happy
Love this kiss picture
Nervous, sitting WAY up high on the railing of a bridge!
Way up high
Love
Ready to open our box of balloons.....
Yeah, the wind was blowing way too hard. This went better in my mind
High high up on the bridge
Love! <3
Handsome hubs
The balloons disappeared way too quickly... oops
This one makes me laugh... Hubs palming my stomach like a basketball.

Going, going.....
So much fun
Can't wait for him to come home!
Tender little moment :)
Super windy hair but still a cute photo
He makes me laugh so much :)
Like I said... it went better in my head...
That took about 12 seconds... then in another 12 they were totally gone.
