Today's shower was a blast. I feel so fortunate to have such a loving family and extended family (which includes my god mother, surrogate mothers from my mom's book club, racetrack family and Baby A's god mother)

The funniest gift of the shower... Ear muff protectors for Baby A's ears at the racetrack :) and yes they are big but work on babies as young as two months old!

Family baby shower today!

Since we are about six weeks from Baby A joining us that means it's shower season! I was pretty opposed to baby showers because of all the silly games and being made the center of attention but my mom convinced me otherwise. So, today is baby shower #1 with my family (which consists of two people), Hubs's family which consists of A LOT more (I'm expecting maybe 8 women), Baby A's godmother Kristi, my godmother and mom's book club, and of course our gracious host Teresa who is my racetrack sister. A small family gathering felt low key enough that I'm really excited! I got a cute new dress from forever 21 but couldn't find a pic to post. Therefore once I get dolled up and at the shower I will post lots of photos! Happy Sunday!
